The Bible is very specific about nations who do not “walk with God,” those nations that choose to disobey His will, His ways, and His Word.

It is vitally important for an individual who is obeying God to know that their land can still be judged. That God is not angry with the individual does not mean He is not angry with the nation.

The two best examples of God’s judgment are in the Old Testament; His dealings with Israel and Judah. These nations were made up of God’s “chosen people,” men, women, and children who should have been receiving His best, and from whom God expected the best, in heartfelt actions, in return.

When these nations, as a whole, consistently fell away from doing their part, judgment followed.

To better understand this concept of Divine Judgment, it is important to look at what caused God’s anger, the reasons, and how that anger was demonstrated, the methods.

Every nation, and its people, should take note that disobedience, like that of Israel and Judah, can ultimately result in the dreadful consequences they endured.
